Alaska Beyond Magazine Photography focus and topics
As Alaska Airlines’ monthly, complimentary in-flight magazine, we are a travel, business and lifestyle publication. Our photographic interests lie specifically in places within Alaska Airlines’ route system. The airline’s territory is primarily Alaska and the West. Other destinations include: Miami, Orlando, Washington DC, New York, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Vancouver BC, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Hawaii and locations in Mexico— more details on locations can be found in the route map located in the back section of Alaska Beyond Magazine. Our subjects cover a variety of topics, such as: nature, sports/adventure, travel, arts and entertainment, lifestyle, and business. The images should offer a sense of location and possess sharp, clean, bright color, and thoughtful composition.
Photographers sending promotional material
When sending promo materials, use one or more of the following: detailed stock list, Website, and/or promo samples. Images should reflect areas or topics relevant to Alaska Airlines’ route system. Please include locations and subject details with images. Unsolicited materials will not be returned. Paradigm Communications Group assumes no responsibility for the return of unsolicited art work.
Photographers sending submissions

We accept only high resolution digital images (no digital composites). Slides, transparencies and prints will not be accepted. Images may be submitted on CD, DVD, and in some instances, via email. CD’s and DVD’s will not be returned. Caption information for each image should be included (subject, location, year and month). Our rates generally start at $150 (inside Spot) and go to $600 (outside Cover). We do not pay research fees or offer assignment work. Photographers will be notified if any of the submitted images are selected and at what size they are to be used. An invoice must be submitted before payment is made.
Payment is made on the publication month. Checks will be mailed on the 15th of the month of the issue.
